    Born in Gangtok, the capital city of the beautiful Himalayan state of Sikkim, Dr. Vishal Golay is revered as one of Siliguri’s premier nephrologists. He boasts a notable academic background with an MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh, a DNB in General Medicine, and a DM in Nephrology from IPGMER, Kolkata. He also completed the ISN-ANIO Clinical Nephropathology Certificate Course endorsed by the International Society of Nephrology.
    His academic excellence is further highlighted by his achievements in school: securing the top rank in Sikkim and the second in the Guwahati region in the class 10 CBSE examination in 1996 with distinction, and the top rank in Sikkim in both bio-science and pure-science streams in the class 12 CBSE examination in 1998 with distinction.
